Solar das Bouças
Rua do Crasto 1415, 4720-614 Prozelo, Amares
Barreiros is located in the municipality of Amares, on the border with Braga, the 3rd largest city in Portugal. It is rural, where there is a lot of viticulture, oranges and kiwis. The region is famous for its Vinho Verde wines. The mountains are visible all around: a game of lights at night. Flora and fauna invite to action where time does not matter. Rivers run through the province and serve a recreational function for residents with beaches, playgrounds and restaurant facilities. The area has many UNESCO World Heritage sites to visit within an hour. Braga, Barcelos, Guimerães, Ponte de Lima, Viana de Castello, Ponte de Barca, Amarante and Amares are examples worth mentioning. Almost all our guests also visit the Peneda-Gères National Park, famous for waterfalls and rock formations and two Catholic shrines for pilgrims.
